In this final episode our home theater is completed!

We're now in the home stretch of showing you how to build a home theater. In this episode, host Corey Greenberg and engineer Mark Midyett put up the big screen and install the front projector. We also install an infrared repeater system, which allows you to point your remote control at the screen and control your components in a nearby room. Next we calibrate our projector and speakers, which is critical to achieving the best sound and picture quality. We use a test DVD to calibrate our projector, checking for color balance as well as contrast, brightness and sharpness. We use an SPL, or sound pressure level meter, to calibrate our front left and right, center and surround sound speakers. Then we use a "real-time analyzer" to calibrate our subwoofers. The final step is to program our "event-based" remote control and our home theater is complete. We'll also show you how Former NFL Great Fuad Reveiz made the most of his money by building an impressive home theater with three big screens and in wall speakers. See how Fuad took a weekend and pumped a little sweat equity in to building this high-tech room for his family, while staying on a modest budget.
